Have you heard? Perfect for California, groovy for summer.. we are lovin’ SWIMM music. Get tuned in here!
There’s a lot to love about SWIMM. A result of the dual efforts of Chris Hess and Adam Winn, their sound is a genre in itself, blurring the lines of psychedelic dance, rock n’ roll and dipping into shoegaze/folk to create something truly unique.
Their new video for “Too Old”—off their 2013 EP Feel— is a pretty accurate testament to the boundaries SWIMM seems to reach. The track is light and folky, but showcases strong legendary rock n’ roll influences. The result is a dynamic mix. As for the video, it’s a psychedelic and distorted documentation of what seems to be a SWIMM live concert; it’s trippy to say the least. You may want to re-check your vision after watching it, or at least pick up a pair of 3-D glasses.
